I work at an ISP, which means networking isn't just a hobby for me - it's my day job. But somewhere along the way, the day job stopped being enough, and a homelab happened. What started as a spare machine running a few VMs has turned into a proper little infrastructure project: VLANs,VRRP, MikroTik gear, Proxmox VMs and containers, self-hosted services, and more time spent reading RFC documents than I'd care to admit. This blog is where I write about what I'm building, breaking, and occasionally fixing. Most of it sits at the intersection of enterprise networking concepts and homelab reality - the kind of stuff where you're applying real-world ISP thinking to a rack in a spare room. If you're into routing protocols, virtualisation, VoIP, or just like seeing how far you can push consumer and prosumer gear, you're in the right place.
